Mindfulness webinar from Ashridge Hult, 24th May
Wed, May. 24, 2017 11:30 − 12:30
Online event: Mindfulness on 24th May
Timing: Wednesday, May 24th, 2017 from 12:30 (GMT) to 13:30.
Interest in mindfulness training as a way to improve leadership effectiveness has exploded in the last year. There are numerous apps, books and a growing number of trainers flooding into the market. But this interest has been fuelled by evidence which has come from research predominantly in clinical populations. There has in fact been very little robust research examining how mindfulness interventions might affect leadership capacities.
This webinar will summarise our research, conducted over the last two years: the world’s first robust, wait-list-control research project examining the links between mindfulness and key leadership capacities.
On the webinar I will respond to the following questions: Does mindfulness affect leadership capacities, specifically those of resilience, collaboration and leading in complexity? If it does, how does it? What are participants’ experiences of practicing mindfulness? What are the implications for both individuals and organisations wishing to develop mindfulness skills?
